Alright, I have a bunch of eggs and I’m pretty sure one of you needs a new pokémon. I have three purrloin eggs, three vanillite eggs, and one ralts egg. So I'll happily give one to you guys for a price~

No one has caught them in the act, so mostly you'll wake up one day and there are eggs everywhere.

When they do have egg, might be a really odd combinations.

I met a friend who had the same thoughts. His piplup and dragon-type Pokemon had produced eggs. I have to admit that even I find t rather odd.

The piplup seemed like a very proud father though.

Piplups are proud of just about anything they can do. Though having a kid with a dragon sound pretty impressive.

Either way, it's just plain odd. [Drags a palm down his face.] Yeah ghost pokemon hatching from eggs makes the least amount of sense. But since it's ghosts, maybe it's just a new spirit that hides out in the shell until it's accepted death or something.

Yes. It's the only idea I can accept.

I think the strangeness can be an amusement most of the time. It is much like magic. And magic like this isn't found back home.

I'm pretty sure they know exactly nothing and share even less. Otherwise they wouldn't send us off with their pokedexes to try to compile data for them.

I would say they know someone and they're are playing dumb. Think about the incident with the Shedinja, did you find it odd how they were able to design something to catch them so quick?

I think they're more highly motivated when they get something they want out of it.

That could be true but either way they're smarter than they seem. Not to mention they are using us as forcefully recruited field agents. We collect all the data they want, they don't have to lift a finger.

Data on habits, new types of pokémon, amount of pokémon in the certain areas. One of the biggest one pokémon behaviors. Anything odd that happens in this place, we're the ones there to see and record it.

True. But if they're so smart, then what the fuck are they even doing with the collected data? They sure as hell aren't getting rich off it, or conquering the world. It's a little... lacking.

At this point I'd say it would be a lack of ambition and yet. This place...it really doesn't revolve around money or political power like it would in normal world.

It's all about the pokemon, they're the ones with probably all the known information on them. I do believe that knowledge is power.

Knowledge is power because you can use it.

They're not using it. Just... hoarding it.

I guess you can think of them as fat rich bastards. They hoard all the info for themselves and when it's convenient or works for them they use it.

Which would explain the Shedinja incident. They already knew about the Shedinja or at least saw something was going down and decided to wait until it became their problem to do something.
