Hit 37 ↟ Video/Action for the group

[It’s not every day you wake up and find out that your pokemon have become a dine and dasher. Then again this is just a normal day in Killua’s life, one of his pokemon committing some sort of crime. He has to find a sensible way to deal with it so he doesn’t get arrested.

Today’s perpetrator is his Zoroark, Cotton Candy. ]

Does anyone have a good list of gourmet recipes? I don’t mind if it’s human or pokemon based recipes as long as it’s gourmet, I’m fine with them. I really don’t want to get arrested because someone doesn’t want to settle for having hamburgers for a day. No, he has to have the pepper-crusted filet Mignon with Cabernet mushroom sauce.

[ He rolls his eyes, hearing a mild whining coming from off screen.]

Gourmet or exotic stuff, I don’t care as long as it’s good.

[Keiko's out on the routes when this comes up on the network and she pauses then to respond.]

Would any of these work?

[There's a file attached of half a dozen deconstructed recipes from other restaurants in her hometown. There's a couple from her parents as well for a total of eight recipes.]

If not I can send you a few other things that I've been meaning to try and haven't had the chance yet.

So lobster would work, then?

[He knows a little bit about expensive cooking, you could say. But hey, he's willing to help out a little.]

[He looks over the list, from the looks of it this is exactly the kind of stuff CC would want.]

No, this is actually a pretty good list. Though I wouldn't object to you sending a few things over for him to try out.

Then again, Cotton Candy actually likes your cooking. [Food critic Cotton Candy will only good for the best.]

[He glances over at the zoroark, who perked up at when lobster is mentioned.]

...Yeah, it looks like he'd be pleased to have some.

[Now Killua has a feeling that's what that damn fox had this evening when he found the pokemon.]

Alright, I used ta know someone who was a fan a it, so ended up knowin' a couple recipes myself...

[Let him just... figure out how to send files and things like that. Technology sure is hard.]

Looks like ya got a friend with an expensive taste, then.

Hmm...well, I'm not that good at cooking, but if your Zoroark wants to try desserts, I've got cream puffs in the fridge. I'm not going to eat them, so he's free to have them.

To him, money is no problem when it comes to food, since he has actually been sneaking into restaurants to get his fix.

I probably should have taken more care in what he ate, but it wasn't actually problem before he evolved.

[Don't feed foxes crème brûlée is the moral of the story.]

[Oh creme puff that sounds good, just as he turns to Cotton Candy to tell him...The zoroark had already bolted out the door.]

...He's already gone to get them.

Yikes. Glad I haven't been spoilin' my troupe that much. Not that I think Invidia would be that darin', but still.

[OH hey, finally got this thing working. Incoming, Killua, some lobster recipes including something about lobster cutlets.]

I hope he likes them, I'm never able to make anything but desserts so I can't help much with the expensive taste thing.

Don't worry as long as it tastes like something high quality, he'll eat it.

[They'll see in a moment when the pokémon comes back.]

If he doesn't, he'll make his displeasure loud and clear.

I had gotten used to making high quality food, thanks to the last group I was with. When those people left, I still continued doing that and going to restaurants out of habit.

That changed recently and he isn't taking it w-

[As he gets the message, sneaky shiny Zoroark appears behind him. He nudges his trainer slightly to see what was sent before nodding in approval.]

Oh, so ya cook too? Then this won't be much of a problem.

[He wiggles his fingers at the Zoroark in greeting.]

Maybe if we ever run across each other, maybe we can trade a few ideas. Been workin' at some kitchens myself.

In that case I'll have to try again. Do you think a Pokemon can eat a black forest cake?

Oh good, I'm glad that Cotton Candy will enjoy it. [She smiles pleased that the Zororark approves of her cooking.] I'll send a few more in that case.

[And attached is yet another list of a few more things that she had planned to try.] I don't think anything will be too difficult, just send me a message if something wasn't clear.

Wait, you can make black forest cake! Why have you been holding out on me, Botan!

[Yes, he is a bit miffed about this. ]

[huff] I'm pretty sure he could eat one of those though Wonka might try to steal it. [or Kil would steal it.]

The only problem will be finding good ingredients, with mister picky looking over my shoulder.

[Cotton Candy gives a yip as a hello. He doesn't look the least bit indignant at Killua's statement. He is quite proud of his sophisticated palate]

I might be able to, my group is traveling around for badges.

It is no problem, the only issue would be the ingredients and maybe some of the cookware. I have plenty of money for that so it's fine.

[He should probably make a recipe folder on his gear for all this stuff.]

Yeah, it all depends on where yer at at any given time. Sometimes the smaller towns give ya fresher ingredients if yer lucky, but bigger cities get ya more variety. That's just what I ended up learnin' while my troupe traveled.

[A beaming smile to Cotton Candy, and Joker nearly thinks about getting out Invidia just for him to say hello. Maybe another Zoroark friend will make him a bit more at ease.]

How many a those do ya got now, then?

Ahaha...I'm sorry, Kil, I never considered it. I've been trying so hard to learn how to make proper dishes, but nothing except desserts ever turns out right, so it's been a point of frustration for me.

We're heading to a small town, so it will be more of the former then the later. Yet getting a good range of recipes is what I need to do, so I'll always have something to work with.

[He gently nudges Cotton Candy to move at bit before answering]

I only have four, but once I get to olivine it will be easy to get the rest.

Dessert are proper dishes but I guess that would be annoying.

[Still pouting]

Why didn't you ask Keiko to help you then? She is a pretty good cook.

Yeah, I've been here for a while but getting badges haven't really been my thing until now. I don't need any luck but thank all the same~

It is fun to have a battle, but the people I travel will tend to be just as interesting.

The group I was with before were all mafia hitmen.

Honestly they didn't really hide that fact from me, most of them came off as a bunch of oddballs though.

Oh, I get it. Heh, I've met a few like that. Ya can get some real nasty folks, but just as much of a chance to find someone real interestin'.

I try not ta get involved with the real dark stuff. Got enough of my own troubles to deal with others'.

You don't have to go out and buy new cookware. Some of it you can substitute anything you already have. Unless you're going for authenticity then I guess you should, but it really isn't necessary on everything.
