Everyone's got a name or at least something close to it. But do you guys know what your names actually mean, or the reason you were given that name? We give pokémon names to set them apart, but does the way you name yours mean anything special? I just named this guy Lemon Twist since he reminds me of striped lemon candy.

It's interesting when you think about it: someone or you yourself has been given this word to identify by and it could have some really deep mean behind it. It could be something that a person thought sounded cute but in the end it's pretty sucky for you. For example, someone could have named their kid after a word that sounds cool yet it could mean horse-shit in the language its from.

I sort of lucked out with the way my parents named me and my siblings, but it has me wondering about everyone else. So tell me what your names mean.

Indeed. I have to admit that we never even considered my father's name, as it is so uncommon that we feared he'd be picked on.

I never thought that an uncommon name could cause that to happen. It makes sense though, the only other thing could be worse is having a name with loads of titles.

Kluya. It's... not exactly what you'd call a usual human name.

Kluya? It sounds different...I can't really comment much on it being fit for a human. Since from what people tell me here, the folks from my world don't sound like they are very human, myself included.

Perhaps that is because the word 'human' is simply the closest translation for multiple species from various worlds in the local language?

Most likely, it's like using the word alien, the term is relatively to the subject matter.

Indeed. The people of my world would all agree that Lunarians and Hummingways are aliens, but what of the non-sentient monsters that share a moon with them?

Lumarians and Hummingways are people from the moon where your from? So wouldn't it be easier to say beings of the moon and monsters could be just be moon monsters.

...Considering that certain lunar monster species greatly resemble those found on either the overworld or the underworld, perhaps they do not deserve their own category.

If that's true then you really don't need to do much except for label where they come from. Unless they're stronger then other ones.

Ahh, since you're so knowledgeable on the subject, are you related to them in anyway?

My brother and uncle were among them. That is quite likely why we could visit them in the first place.
