[He was about to mention even more confused remarks about this Squalo guy and Bird Man but a-aww, all the itty bitty dedenne have thoroughly distracted him from looking too closely at Killua.

There are about six of them at the moment. And they all want attention. And they're all about to short circuit the pokegear if they don't knock it off. Rin coaxes them away from the gear for now, at least averting that small crisis. If he looks really happy to have all those cute little guys on him, then yes. Yes he is.
