Hit 27 Video| Action Goldenrod [backdated to the 8th]
You know I wonder do pokémon actually have sex or do they just reproduce though some weird combination of energy. [He comments as he looks over the large batch of eggs on his bed.]

You certainly don’t have the genitals; it’s hard enough trying to figure out if you’re female or male. [You can at this point to see who he’s talking to, it’s a rather smug looking Gardevoir who gives a cheery wave, a bored purloin, and giggling Vanilluxe. Killua rolls his eyes before actually looking into the camera.]

Alright, I have a bunch of eggs and I’m pretty sure one of you needs a new pokémon. I have three purrloin eggs, three vanillite eggs, and one ralts egg. So I'll happily give one to you guys for a price~

[His Gardevoir coos at him from the bed, giving him a come hither look.]

....Just a bit of a warning I am not at fault if the pokémon that comes are a bit off.

Mitsuki, I hope you like your present~

Ib, did Thrombus drop off your egg yet?

((OOC:There are only one egg left and it's the purrlion))

Still got any vanillite?

And I prefer to think of it as combination of energy. Hurts my brain less. Though I get the feeling with gyarados it's probably similar to fish and sea monsters back home. Which is still more than I ever wanted to know about pokemon.

I'm still got a few vanillite left.

I really try not to think too much about it but every time they have eggs. The thought just start rearing their ugly heads again.

That sounds about right with the fish and bird like pokemon.

I'll take one. How much?

Tch. The weirdest ones are the mammals and the rocks and things. Steel types. How the heck does that work?

It's p3500, where should I send it.

At least there are mawiles and lucarios, they resemble animals at least.

We should be in Azalea pretty soon, so the hotel there would be fine if you can.

Yeah, but magnemite? That's just weird. Maybe it asexually reproduces by... growing an off shoot and not being enough to be a magneton?

I'll send my Flygon your way then, it hopefully wont take him to long.

It could be an offshoot thing or they transfer a bit of their life force to a few empty bits of metal.

Now that I think about it, for Yamask someone would need to do first to make one of them.

Thanks.

Either way, it's just plain odd. [Drags a palm down his face.] Yeah ghost pokemon hatching from eggs makes the least amount of sense. But since it's ghosts, maybe it's just a new spirit that hides out in the shell until it's accepted death or something.

So it would just be in limbo until it hatches?

One of these days I'm going to have to visit one of those dumb professors. [If anyone knows at least a semblance of what's going on it's probably them.]

I'm pretty sure they know exactly nothing and share even less. Otherwise they wouldn't send us off with their pokedexes to try to compile data for them.

I would say they know someone and they're are playing dumb. Think about the incident with the Shedinja, did you find it odd how they were able to design something to catch them so quick?

[Thinks about that. On the one hand, yeah that's pretty suspicious... on the other hand... that's exactly like the marine's science team.]

I think they're more highly motivated when they get something they want out of it.

That could be true but either way they're smarter than they seem. Not to mention they are using us as forcefully recruited field agents. We collect all the data they want, they don't have to lift a finger.

Data on habits, new types of pokémon, amount of pokémon in the certain areas. One of the biggest one pokémon behaviors. Anything odd that happens in this place, we're the ones there to see and record it.

[Drums his fingers a little and thinks it over more.]

True. But if they're so smart, then what the fuck are they even doing with the collected data? They sure as hell aren't getting rich off it, or conquering the world. It's a little... lacking.

At this point I'd say it would be a lack of ambition and yet. This place...it really doesn't revolve around money or political power like it would in normal world.

It's all about the pokemon, they're the ones with probably all the known information on them. I do believe that knowledge is power.

Knowledge is power because you can use it.

They're not using it. Just... hoarding it.

I guess you can think of them as fat rich bastards. They hoard all the info for themselves and when it's convenient or works for them they use it.

Which would explain the Shedinja incident. They already knew about the Shedinja or at least saw something was going down and decided to wait until it became their problem to do something.

[How could someone that study pokemon, not notice the odd migraction pattern right before the Shedinja came about.]
