Hit 29 | Video - Goldenrod | Taking what I want |

[There is a mischievous look on the brat's face as the feed starts. He is up to something big this time. Something that will really shake things up in this place hopefully for a while.]

I’ve been here for quite a bit for quite some time, now I’ve only learned a few things since coming here.

The people here are mostly idiotic in some shape or form. Pokémon are the bread and butter of this society, anything of importance always has to do with them. Trying to understand this place is one of the hardest things to do because logic gets in the way.

So why do I keep thinking there’s something I’m missing and being kept from me. I should let it go since I don't want to go insane any time soon. I’m getting the feeling that those damn scientists are keeping a whole lot of secrets to themselves.

I know it hard believe with the raging stupidity infecting most of the local population. Think about it, this place is pretty advance in one area and that’s pokémon. The ones that happen to know about them best are the scientists and the professors. While everyone else is left in the dark until they deem it ready to let us know.

[His mischievous smile turns into a toothy grin at this point.]

Hoarding is terrible problem they seem to have, I feel it’s in my best interest to help them with
their problem. By relieving them of all that unnecessary information, I’ve certainly earned a little look see with the way using us and all.

While it would be easy to just go after one guy myself and rob him blind. I thought it would be more interesting and worthwhile to let the rest of you in on this. The more ground that’s covered the more likely some juice bits of information will pop up.

[He looks so excited as he shuts off the gear. One way or another, this is going to cause some interesting things to happen.]

[He immediately regrets that momentary loss of temper, though, his face screwing up to physically stop himself from opening his mouth further. His head dips forward, and he pressing the pads of his middle three fingers over one eye.]

[When he speaks again, it's quieter and more level, although the control is clearly artificial.]

I'm sorry. You didn't deserve that.

[He's quiet for a beat, rubbing his fingers over his eye, against the ridge of his brow.]

Romano is gone again. Tulio this time as well, too. Maybe others. One fell swoop. I don't know.

[He hadn't intended to talk about this here, but the number of people France is starting to be able to talk to about personal things is getting smaller and smaller, and it's not like he was ever good at keeping his emotions in check.]

[Of all the things, he probably should have expected that to be the case. It sort of confused him, Francis had been here much longer then himself. Why was he breaking down now of all times over people returning or was it something else. He thought for a few moments trying to consider what had could have changed. Unless the rapid session of it is what really had him worry.

Killua took a deep breath before looking back at France.]

We go through this all the time, people come and then they go. We really can’t control it, it’s probably one of the cruelest aspects of this world.

Most of the people I’ve become close to have gone already…I think a cracked a little afterward. So I understand what you're feeling right now.
Honestly time is a bitch just as much as life is. All you need to remember is one important thing, would those two be happy to see you like this?

Because if I left and you got like this. I'd come back and punch that look right off your face!

[He cares a lot for you France, oddly enough so seeing you like this is actually ticking him off.]

[France presses both of his hands to his eyes, using the heels of his hands now rather than his fingers. All of what Killua says are things that France already knows; he's been here before, many, many times over the centuries. But, as a Nation, he's always known there would be others: other bosses, other lovers, other humans. Here...]

[France laughs, a low, rickety sound.]

And I would deserve it.

[He rubs his eyes a few times before letting his hands drop. He looks tired again, although more simply that than anything else from before. He's never been good at this part. There are other Nations who are good at dealing with grief, and those who simply don't deal with the grief. The latter never lasted long, and France had never really hoped to go there.]

[When he speaks again, he's openly sad and not a little bit rueful.]

I would be happy enough to see you that I probably wouldn't care you punched me.
