Here I thought I wouldn’t need to do anymore HS announcements for a while. Well if you’re sick of hearing about it from me too bad for you, I don’t care about that.

[Behind him, Cotton Candy, the Zoroark is pouting, even going as far as making an illusion of a mini rain cloud appear over his head. ]

What I do care about is finding a mascot for Honeyed Soul. Our reason is that we have souls in our title and you would assume we’d have some sort of mascot, we don’t. So to fix that little mistake, I’m calling to you guys for help once more, aren’t you all lucky. To Honeyed Soul employees and friends of those employees, all I ask is simple. Nominate a ghost type from your teams for the official mascot for Honeyed Soul. Then we’ll choose from whose nominated as the our big star.

Oh and this is for ghost types only, unless you want your Pokémon parading around in sheets acting like ghosts. [He says this as his previously sulking Zoroark perks up and runs upstairs to grab a sheet. Killuasighs before moving on.]

Anyway if you nominate them you better make a good case about why they should be the mascot. This means you'll have to say more than "because they want to as an answer". So you better make it good.

[With that he shuts off the camera.]

[Later that day Killua may be found walking the streets of Goldenrod with a large bag of groceries in one hand, while munching on a candy bar in another. A tall figure in a sheet is following close behind trying in vainly to main proper ghostly sounds.]

...Err. Aku volunteers himself. I would, personally, volunteer our Little Ones.

[That seems to prompt Aku to stick both paws up into view and wave them frantically.]

I'll put them down them, I honest wasn't going to limit how many from a team can get voted in.

[He's already has his memo pad in hand.]

I was going to vote for Wonka but as you can see, she wont be the only one.

True, though don't let anyone else know if you can help it. People might think I'll be bias.

I really hadn't thought about what to give the winner but a ribbon would be perfect.

Oh, lovely! I'll go 'round to the ribbon section of the market and ask the fellow to make one based on our sign's colors. Perhaps a little pin of our spirit friends on the sign can be attached to it as well.

[He'll be bias but fair in the competition.]

That's sound good to me, we can have give out the pins as prizes to some those that didn't win while the winner gets the full set.

Hard to believe that now we're thinking about what our mascot is going to be. I didn't think that I'd be starting a business in my lifetime, did you?

I certainly didn't think I'd be starting a sweets business of all things. It probably wouldn't have come up if it wasn't for how this world works.

[The only business he'd been in before was the family business. ]

Most likely. We're even taking on new employees as well, I hope working for us is something they need to feel more productive. I don't like the feeling of not knowing what to do as much as anyone else.

By the by, I don't know if I've heard about some of the new people yet?

I'm pretty sure I've given them enough to do that they wont die of bored at least. If not then, then what's coming up should keep them pretty busy.

[His grin certainly looks ominous.]

We did had at least six more people to join us, who have you talked to already?

Well, Poppet already likes parading around in a sheet... so she fits. But more seriously, she's the friendliest of my ghost types. We don't exactly want to scare off customers. She actually would enjoy being photographed or videotaped.

Okay I'll put down Poppet the Shuppet down. You make a good point being friendly is important, I forgot we aren't trying intimidate people.

[Have to remember, intimidate the completion, welcome the customers.]

No, we aren't, as fun as that can be sometimes.

I'll just leave the scares to the ghosts that don't want to take part then.

[Considering how many ghost types live in headquarters, they would be plenty of volunteers.]

Pretty much. Goldenrod is much smaller than Tokyo, but I've always been able to adapt fairly quickly.

[Well, here's one interested taker, who happens to be holding a tiny Pumpkaboo in her arms in view of the camera.]

I'm...not very certain what goes into being a proper mascot, but if you please, you might consider my Ella? She's very sweet and good-natured, and likes very much to be held. I would imagine if you asked her to sit for a picture, she'd take very well to it, and also her disposition is most favorable toward others — even strangers. So I imagine she'd not pose any sort of problem being around people she didn't know.

You certainly didn't leave out any details to make her case.

[He pauses for a moment before taking out his memopad]

She'd be taking pictures, be in commercials when she's available and we'd use her image on some of the packaging. She's also being taking part in special events that we might have, which wont happen to often.

Oh and she'd be wearing a special ribbon when she does anything related to Honeyed soul.

I see! Well, yes, I'm sure she could manage that, if she were chosen for it.

[And the Pumpkaboo seems to agree, cooing happily in addition.]

Good to know, quick question have either of you had anything from Honeyed Soul before?

I don't believe so, but I think I might've seen it a few times before. It's a sweet shop, isn't it?

That's right! While we only have one store in Goldenrod, we primarily deliver our goods to the customers to any place in the two regions.

Well, I do live in Goldenrod, so I suppose I shall have to stop in at some time and have a visit! I do like sweets, in moderation.

I'm not opposed to people coming by and picking up sweets fresh. We also have treats made just for Pokemon as well.

[The only thing to worry about is the amount of ghost types they happen to have floating around the place.]

Do you! And what sort would you recommend, if I might ask?

Depends on your Pokemon tastes, we have hard candies, jams, tarts, gummies and marshmallow treats made just for them.

They're all made from fresh berries that Pokemon love.

Well, Wicked G and 2shade like to shapeshift into things and pull pranks on people. Including me.

[Their smirks could not have been wider as they chuckled mischievously to themselves.]

Doublade is supposed to be two possessed swords, which is pretty cool, I guess.

[Even if it did make her uneasy...]

This little guy... [she pointed to the baby Shuppet... and paused.] ...He's cute, I guess.

Hmmm, we'll okay I'll accept that for now. Though they better be prepared to show their appeal.

I don't really expect any of them to win, frankly.

[For a second, the only thing that can be seen on-screen is the cheerful face of a small Litwick whose flame is burning so brightly that between him and the light coming in through the window, the lights in the room don't even need to be turned on. As he turns the Gear onto himself, Kaneki gives the Pokemon's side a brief touch to prompt him to dim his light a little. Don't want him sapping all of his energy today, little guy.

He smiles slightly, resting a hand against his chin.]

Phantom wanted me to nominate him. As for a case, well...he has been very outgoing and energetic ever since he hatched. He gets along well with my other Pokemon, and...

[Kaneki pauses, glancing over at his Kadabra off-screen. She huffs and rolls her eyes, but seems to relay a message regardless.]

He also wanted me to mention that he has a great appreciation for Literature.

There isn't going to be much literature involved with this job, unless either of you have some crazy ideas to make that work.

Yet the rest sounds good to me, so he qualifies for nomination.

Ah...I figured there wouldn't be. But he considers that to be a good attribute about himself, so I thought I would mention it anyway.

[Kevin found his afternoons filled with walking around nowadays. He had been scoping out a permanent living situation so he could be closer to his job. This is when he spots Killua walking among the streets. He had only seen him on the feed, but Kevin knew well that this was his employer.

He quickly moves straight for him.]

Killua!!! Oh dear, what a fortunate run in I have found myself in! I have been meaning to meet you face to face.

[Killua stops and turns slowly, he knew he'd see this man sooner or later. Low and behold, his face looks creeper in person, Killua just have to get use to that.

Cotton Candy pauses under his sheet to look at the new human before shrugging and going on with his act.]

Hi Kevin, I was just heading back to the Dojo with some groceries. So you caught me at a good moment.

Well isn't that just fortunate!

[He is a lot creeper in person and even his smile appears more twisted. Kevin notices the additional guest and flashes the sheeted figure a smile.]

I was curious if we could visit the shop and discuss further business. I have decided to stay in Golden rod, find a place and better my availability so I can be here for Honeyed Souls!
