Anyway, everyone is meeting up at the pokémon center, Gon is already here with me. Botan is still at the inn but she's coming and Xiaoqiao is on her way I think.

I haven't had a chance to give you guys a run down of the odd crap that happens around here. Plus it's a good time to make sure the pokémon are alright. I saw some pretty twisted up one's earlier and it could be contagious for all we know.

"Twisted up", like, flickering in and out or something? I've been seeing those around, too. Pretty fuckin' weird.

Anyway, give me a few minutes and I'll be there. I'm guessing you've seen this kind of shit before?

That definitely what I'm talking about, one of them showed up earlier,once it did that guy is stuck in that wall.

Not exactly this sort of shit, but this place has an interesting cycle of being calm and peace for a bit and then bam things get crazy.

As for Johto's tendency to go from idyllic to bugfuck nuts in the matter of, like, a day... well, oddly enough, Killua's description of it gets a wry sort of grin out of Yusuke, who says:]

Heh. Sounds a little like home, actually. You think things're normal, then suddenly you find out, nope, there's another crazy asshole out there trying to destroy humanity. Makes having a life a real bitch sometimes.

[AND IN A TRULY SHOCKING TURN OF EVENTS, Yusuke... actually doesn't seem to be complaining about this! Yeah, sure, having to save the world all the time cuts into the time he could spend gambling or spying on the girls changing in the locker room or taking naps, but hell, at least it means he's not bored. He's also pretty sure that he'd be, like, ten times more pissed off with the world if he didn't have this job to give him purpose and, more importantly, give him lots of people to fight - hell, not being able to do any of his Spirit Detective stuff is part of why being here in Johto has sucked so badly for him. He's not going to get into any of this with Killua, though, of course; he doubts Killua would care, for one thing, and for another, it doesn't really have anything to do with the subject at hand.]

That guy had been leaning against the wall when that pokemon showed up. Suddenly wall started to break apart weirdly for a moment and the guy fell a bit into the hole it made. The wall came back together when the pokémon left with the man stuck in it.

[It keeps breaking apart whenever someone new touches it. Soon the whole wall might be filled.]

Home is a lot more interesting in general then this place. If things get stale you can always find something interesting out there to do. That's how I ended up meeting Gon, well the hunter exam was kinda lame but he made it fun at least. There are tons of crazy assholes around. Though the only thing that tried to wipe out or farm humans were carnivorous ants that could assimilate traits from whatever species they ate. That's been resolved more or less.

[This place was really just a long vacation spot after while. It took him a while to get use the lack of action and level of danger he was use to back home. It's honestly nice that he only snapped twice during the few long year that he's been here.]
